Members are discussing issues with accessing Canvas for orientation modules, with some experiencing SSO Request Errors and delays in receiving emails. There is confusion about the required tasks before orientation, such as sending official transcripts, and questions about the locations of clinicals. Despite some technical difficulties, members are eagerly preparing for the upcoming orientation.
Hi, is anyone applying to the RN program at Cerritos College in California for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. If so how many points do you have?

"I have been offered an admission position in the Cerritos College Nursing Program for Spring 2026. I have read this letter and will be attending mandatory orientation, fulfilling all requirements, and beginning nursing school this August. I am in full agreement to work with the nursing department to fulfill my academic program with flexibility and changes as needed, as I progress.
I am taking the admission for the Spring 2026 term.”
I wonder if it was a mistake on their end because only one line in the letter said I have to accept as an alternate, but everything else sounds like I was admitted as an accepted student.
Probably a mistake, over 50 emails didn't get sent out earlier with even a notice of acceptance or deny. I would accept or decline by May 2nd! Those who are alternates hold out hope! Still a couple more nursing schools people are waiting on that might have gotten accepted to Cerritos but pick another. Good luck!
I got selected as an alternate! My stats:
-3.5 overall GPA
-sciences A, A, & B
-Associates degree
-81% on the TEAS
-2 years college-level foreign language
-4+ years working in the ICU as a Unit Assistant
I believe I had 61 points. Hoping to receive a spot as Cerritos is my first choice! However, I did get admitted into another program too😄
Accepted as an Alternate!
Overall GPA 3.02
Science A, B, B
TEAS 86
previous Bachelor's
0 Official healthcare experience, but just completed my CNA and I took care of my mother in law full time for 3 years.
I applied to 7 programs (I don't remember my points for this one) and this is the closest I've gotten to acceptance.
