Cerritos college nursing fall 2018

Published

Hello,

I was just wondering did anybody else apply to Cerritos College Nursing for Fall 2018? Do you guys have anything to share about the application, or application process, teas, or anything ?

College of canyons, LA City college, LA county school of nursing, Cerritos and LA southwest (accepted and 3rd time applying)

Seems like a lot of the acceptance letters are dated the 14.

Mine was dated the 14 and I was rejected lol... its ths luck of the draw is all.

Thank you! I'm sorry to hear you weren't accepted, but I've been applying for two years so let's hope you have better luck the next go around!

Good Luck! I hope you get in.

Did you get picked for LAHC also?

Sadly, no, I wasn't selected in the lottery this time around for Harbor. I'm still on the wait list for Trade Tech too.

Hello to the alternates. I just wanted to let you all know that I was in your same position last year. I was placed on the alternate acceptance list for Cerritos. I was going crazy trying to find out anything I could about the alternate list acceptance. During the mandatory orientation they have 3 lines for sign in sheets. One for Fall acceptance, one for spring acceptance and one for alternates. I gauged my competition to how long the lines were of the students who showed up. Fall was really long and spring was not as long so I knew I would have a better chance of getting in the spring. A few alternate students found out that day that they would be getting into the fall semester. Spring alternates had to wait. One thing that put my mind at ease was that Only about half of spring accepted students showed up to the mandatory orientation. So I waited and waited for months and finally by the end of October I received a letter that I was accepted into the spring start date. I just finished my first semester! Dont give up and good luck!

How did they select the alternates who did get in for Fall that year?

It was a random selection. Since I didn't get in to Fall I had to wait a few months. I didn't find out I was accepted into the spring program till around the end of october.
