  1. The waitlist is usually about 4 semesters (approx. 2 years). That was me, I waited while also applying everywhere else but kept getting no's. I am currently in the 1st semester at Cypress.
  2. For those who have been accepted & are on the alternate list, when is the mandatory meeting?
  3. Sadly no, I was waitlisted yet another semester...
  4. Did you get accepted as an alternate?
  5. They told me less than 40 as well! But that was not including students being removed for not reapplying and/or those who didn't pass the TEAS test! Also it's 25% so it should be 10 students every Spring & Fall. So 20 total.
  6. Me too Olga, me too! They said the waitlist is about 4 semesters before you get it... I have applied to all the community colleges in OC, applied to Rio Hondo, and even Riverside CC.
  7. Your e-mail said "HSA_RN_EMAIL_WAITLIST_MESG_HTML" too? I received mine yesterday (Friday) at 4:57pm. I wonder why yours came this morning...
  8. For those who received an acceptance or alternate e-mail what was the subject title of your e-mail from the HS office? I too received the e-mail titled "HSA_RN_EMAIL_WAITLIST_MESG_HTML". I have been on the waitlist for 2 years now. Was hoping I was going to be accepted this Spring.
  9. @Waniagonz & @JENNGAR I think you can no longer look at your application after it has been submitted and once the application period ends you can no longer look at anything (i.e. the signature page or documents that are needing to be turned in).
  10. I think the nursing program needed your proof of employment by Oct. 1st, so it may be too late to submit this document. But normally they require a letter on company letterhead that states your title, how long you have worked for the company, and how many hours you have worked. Then a signature from your HR or Manager needs to be on it as well. Actually you can see what the application requires here. Hope this helps for the next application in September of 2020.
  11. Adang, Cypress College Nursing Program has only one application period a year. It is every September and the dates are always posted on the school's website page. You can not update any information once your application is submitted. You can continue to reapply each year and then get bumped up on the waitlist each year you don't get it but you have to reapply consecutively (back to back every September).
  12. This was my 4th time consecutively applying and I have yet to get in! I am so bummed and frustrated at the same time.
  13. So it looks like they send acceptance letters via USPS & denials via e-mail. Because I had received my denial via e- mail on Nov. 2nd.
  14. Earlier this year they sent notifications of acceptance or denial letters via e-mail. Are they now sending them via USPS?
  15. Who e- mailed you back? And when did he/she e-mail you?
