  1. ECC was actually my first choice, but I live in Anaheim so I tried my luck with Cerritos, it's so much closer. I started off with 47 pts and got invited to sit for the TEAS. I got an 86% on the TEAS so I ended up with 67 points total and got in. I applied to the Compton campus, I really like it there and it's closer to me than the Torrance campus. I've seen 65pts get accepted to both campus' too. I don't know what the lowest score accepted is though. You should try! It seems like a good program, I've talked to a lot of people in the Compton campus and they really like it, they do say it's pretty difficult and time consuming, but what RN program isn't? I really didn't think I would get a call back to take the TEAS, I felt my grades were not competitive enough, but I have a lot of extra pts, like AA, patient volunteer hours, work while attending college, bilingual...you get points for all those things, which really help you. So definitely give it a go!
  2. Got my letter today, I didn't get get accepted I did though get into El Camino College, so I'll be going there. Best of luck to you all!! Congrats to those who made it in and the alternates, I hope you make it!
  3. :drowning:Nothing so far..to those who are in, congrats!! Those that didn't make it, don't quit! The struggle never stops, my friend has her BSN and is currently looking for a job, it's rejection left and right, but she'll land something soon! Perseverance is key! Lotteries can be frustrating. Have you guys tried point-system based programs? Like El Camino College?
  4. I just checked and I have not received anything yet Anyone else receive anything?
  5. I've been accepted to Compton :)
  6. Mine is the same, I just filled it out I was just about to print it out and just fill in, thanks for the heads up, cindyrn_!
  7. Oh! I wonder if that applies to Compton as well, I might have to call and make sure.
  8. Got my acceptance letter today! So happy!
  9. I did. I hope so! I will be waiting here, anxiety filled and all lol :)
  10. Oh man! Congratulations to all that have made it in so far! I'm still waiting for my rejection or acceptance, hoping for the best.
  11. Now it's end of May?! Waiting is the worst part. Thanks for the updates! Here's hoping for the best.
  12. The anticipation is killing me too! Hopefully it's soon, I'm thinking any day now? :/ I realized I put 77pts! That's not true, I'm at 67 pts total!
  13. I hope we all do! I've applied at El Camino Compton Center, not Torrance. I Think there are only 30 chosen for Compton, so here's hoping for the best. Good luck!
  14. Hello! After my teas I'm at about 77 pts . Hopefully that's enough to get me in I scored an 86 on the teas. How'd you do?
