Hello,
What has been your experience in the ASU-maricopa CEP program as far as the class schedule goes? I work at ASU and would really like to continue working fulltime during school as I get a huge tuition break - and I can't afford to finance my second bachelor's.
My goal is to get my DNP and become a nursing faculty member, and I feel as though many programs prefer a BSN.
My work schedule is usually monday-friday with some events happening on Saturdays. I'm curious if clinicals can ever take place on Sundays?
Thanks for any input!

The schedule really depends on what CC and cohort you're in. For example, I'm at Gateway in the evening program. Our classes are T/Th 5:30-9:30 PM. My clinical group just finished our Med/Surg rotation, which was on a Sunday. We're the only Sunday group though. I know the day/traditional program at GWCC only had one weekend clinical option. The rest were during the week. If you really want to be a nurse, you'll have to make some sacrifices with work like leaving early, using PTO for clinicals, and possibly even cutting back your hours. I know this isn't necessarily what you wanted to hear, but it's how it goes. :/
Thanks! And are clinicals every week?
I definitely think I can get my schedule to be flexible - like going in at 7 am every day to leave early. And PTO for clinicals is no problem for me! I have no life. hahahaha
I really want to go into nursing and will do whatever it takes - even leaving my job if I have to but I really want to try to make it work.

Clinicals aren't every week, but you have them the same day for a number of consecutive weeks in a row. So I just finished 4 Sundays for Med/Surg. Next I'll have 3 Monday evenings for my Psych clinical. Does that make sense? Haha
I'm sure you can make it work! Almost every single person in my current cohort works full time. It's not easy, but it's manageable :)
