CEN- Is is worth it?

Published

I want to get my CEN credentials, but I'm not sure about the best way to study. Is there a good online class or any recommendations on a good seminar to go to?

I use Medscape.com

You should spend some time reading the CEN support threads. You should find what you are looking for.

It's very worth it to get that CEN. The search feature should help you locate plenty of threads about study prep. Good luck!! :)

Thanks everyone. I finally buckled down and took it and I passed!!!!!!!

Congratulations! :yeah: I'm working up my courage to try it, probably late this summer or early fall. How was it?

Not as bad as I expected it to be. I scored an 83%. Only a 73% is needed to pass. I went to a review class offered through the network I work at and did a lot of practice tests. I listened to the Laura Gasparis CDs while I was driving some too.

Best of luck if you decide to take it!

Good for you!!! That is awesome. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, either. We'll see what the CPEN is like this summer! :D

I may go for CCRN. Probably not for another year or so though;)
