Ceil blue Littmann Classic III stethoscope

Hi! I'm trying to make a decision about what color my very first stethoscope will be! I was looking at the ceil blue Littmann Classic III and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it's more of a light baby blue or if it's more of a dull grey blue? I've heard the pictures can be misleading so I want to make sure I'm making a good investment with a color I like. Also, is the lavender pretty in person? And are either of these colors popular? Thank you for any feed back!

I wasn't so fond of it in person so I got the black edition one. everything is smoked out black... love it

You can always get a stethoscope sleeve! (Or is that considered a reservoir for germs?)

If you watch Greys anatomy - Arizona Robbins has the lavender cardio 3 in season 5. So you can see the color.

This is all so helpful! Thanks for all the feedback. I haven't ordered it yet so I can still change my mind. Such a bummer about the transfer of colors, you think they could make it stain proof....Does anyone know if the lime green color is dark enough not to stain? Does the breast cancer pink one stain? I'm assuming the lavender stains because it's light... :/

Could someone give me insight as to what the raspberry looks like too? Is it more burgundy or a deeper pink?

I have the same stethoscope you are asking about and I love it. Wish I had a pic to post for you but it's in my locker at work so I can't take one.

I love the color...it looks better in real life than in the pictures on Amazon. To me, it really doesn't look lavender. It's a cross kind of between powder blue and grey. I have only seen one other nurse with the same color.

I haven't had any issues w/ color transfer from my scrubs. It stays really clean if you wipe it down w/ a Sani-wipe. Best of all, it sounds great!

I say go for it. You can always send it back if it's not what you expected. If you do get it, post here and let us know what you think.

That's so reassuring! I was wondering if color transfer happens if you don't wash the new scrubs first or if it is a reoccurring transfer for a while? I've had a hard time deciding on a darker color so this is great to hear you love your ceil blue one and it's held up well!

Color transfer happens from pens/pencils and anything else that it comes with. A few years ago I bought the light pink breast cancer littman and it just looks dirty now.

I have a ceil blue stethescope, I would describe it as more of a silver blue. It's a pretty color and I am happy with my purchase. I also have dark scrubs and have never had an issue with color transfer. I clean the tubing every once in awhile with alcohol wipes per Littman's instructions and haven't had any problems with that either.

This is all great feedback! Does the raspberry have problems with staining?

Now I'm torn between raspberry and ceil blue... :/

I bought the raspberry one and have had no issues with stains.
