Cedars-Sinai RN New Grad 2011

Just wanted to know if anyone here got an e-mail invitation on Cedars-Sinai RN New Grad Program. I had my phone interview with them on December 29th. I received my e-mail today inviting me to the hiring event Open House for the Program on January 19th. I'm soooo nervous. It's been almost a year since I graduated and I finally got my first in-person interview! It's been so hard on all of us graduates! Let's hope for the best! :D

OMG I had an interview today at Huntington and I had no idea the emails went out... I as well think it is kinda crappy to title it "No Thank You". I haven't gotten an email as of yet and my name begins w/ a "G" but my fingers are crossed. The huntington interview was intimidating w/ the panel interview on a side note...

To be I am not sure if I can share or not but I will give you some general info... Two interviews 1st) w/ HR: normal mundane questions nothing medical (obviously) 2nd) Group interview w/ like 8 interviewers (consisting of Nur managers / preceptors / staff Nur) asking situational question and asking about my background etc... Hope this helps....

Willowlove, I'm still following this thread because I'm waiting for you to tell us you got the call and the job! We are all rooting for you :D

I believe most people here already got a rejection from Cedars. But if you're still waiting on them I think you should call them today. They told you to give them till today, so I think it's ok to call and ask for an update.

I haven't heard from Cedars yet, yeah or nah.... They are really taking their time.

Just called them. They checked on my status and said they're STILL working on the selection.

I agree, it is getting ridiculous.......but on the bright side it means that there's still hope!!!!!

Just keep your options open, apply to other jobs and if you get an offer from another hospital go ahead and accept it right away. You can always turn it down later if Cedars call you!

Thats kinda of what I am doing now... If they offer more money then what I will make at Huntington I may take it.
