Cedars-Sinai RN New Grad 2011

Just wanted to know if anyone here got an e-mail invitation on Cedars-Sinai RN New Grad Program. I had my phone interview with them on December 29th. I received my e-mail today inviting me to the hiring event Open House for the Program on January 19th. I'm soooo nervous. It's been almost a year since I graduated and I finally got my first in-person interview! It's been so hard on all of us graduates! Let's hope for the best!

I just got an email from Cedars saying we will hear from them next week.

Did you email them yesterday? If so, was today's e-mail in response to yesterday regarding the online application? Thanks :)

Recruiter told me during interview those who gets hired will get a "CALL" and people who are not hired will be notified via "E-mail"

Yes I emailed them, asking them about the online application.

They're definetely doing things different this time, taking more time making their decisions and sending the job application to everyone.

I hope at least they will let us know by the beginning of next week, I don't know if I can wait another whole week

I had to contact the HR person who sent out the email request because I was having trouble accessing the form. I asked if getting this request for information was any indication that we would be offered positions and he said no. They will have the final list of who is accepted next week.

I didn't ask. Last I heard it was "60 but possibly more"

my interviewer said they're hiring 60-80... hoping it is more towards 80!

I guess indeed it takes 2 weeks for us to find out as we were told. The waiting continues....

yes that's what I thought when I saw that everyone was getting the email.

Legally, for them to either make an offer or reject someone, they need to have a job application on file. Since we never filled one out, that's the reason they're having everyone doing it now.
