Cedars-Sinai RN New Grad 2011

Published

Just wanted to know if anyone here got an e-mail invitation on Cedars-Sinai RN New Grad Program. I had my phone interview with them on December 29th. I received my e-mail today inviting me to the hiring event Open House for the Program on January 19th. I'm soooo nervous. It's been almost a year since I graduated and I finally got my first in-person interview! It's been so hard on all of us graduates! Let's hope for the best! :D

for real , they said they will look for new grads as well and entry level and so on.. well i might take ma chance

now am nervous it might be useless lol

Thanks for all the info! Very helpful! I sent my resume via the link last week and got a reply the next day. It said that I was put on the wait list and would be contacted should any slots open up.

Did anyone else get this message????? I'm trying to figure out if that is a promising sign or they just send this reply to everyone?

How did you know they were putting people on the wait-list?

did you send your resume in this one http://www.leadingthequest.com/contact.html) i havent receive anything you lucky

Yup that's the link I sent my resume to. I hope you hear something soon. But i'm still disappointed. I wish I had known about the link earlier, then maybe I would've been interviewed and invited to the open house in June. I found out the link by this chat.

are you going to the job fair?

im not interested in it anymore, ive been to career fair in LA last month and nothing happened. they don't want new grads///

i didn't know there is a job fair going on and i haven't been to one either. i'm based in san diego so i don't think i'll make it if i leave now and besides, like you mentioned, i don't think they're looking for new grads.

it's a tough market out there.

i posted my inquiry last friday and got an email monday morning that my name has been put on the waiting list. i'm not sure how long the wait though. it could be until the next new grad program, i'm not sure.

i got the same exact message too. it sounds like one of those auto reply away messages. did you reply to the email and ask more questions?

how did you find out about the fair? did they send you an email? or an invitation?

It does sound somewhat like an auto reply but it did not come from a do not reply email address and I could see the trail that it was forwarded from person to person. There was a name and number, and yes I also replied and asked more questions. However that was just this morning. I have not gotten a response yet.
