Cedars-Sinai New Grad Summer 2013

Just thought it would be helpful to post a new thread for the upcoming new grad program starting this summer. I've seen the thread for the program last year and wanted to see if anyone was one of the first 250 who applied for it this year. I applied for cohort #1 and got a phone interview last week and the gentleman said that I'd receive an e-mail within 1-2 weeks. I've also heard of people getting rejection emails as well without a phone interview. Anyone have additional info they'd like to share? Good luck to all us new grads out there!

Well I remember asking what on hold meant and sandymickey said that hers said on hold the entire time even after her 3rd interview...that's why I'm scared lol. But then again people have gotten rejection letters already. So idk :/

What's the skilled survey? I just submitted my official app which includes the background check. I wonder why the extra step for you?

the skilled survey is a reference check (I had to list 5 references). I also gave my info to do the background check and they are mailing me the info for the drug screen. Not sure why the extra step haha I was assuming everyone else was doing this

So then did you get accepted or are they waiting for you to complete those things first?

they are waiting for all of these things to pass. Did you have to do any of this?

HR just called me this morning to fill out the skilled survey and that my background check was getting started

Just got a rejection email for cohort #2. That was quick! Well, I guess it is better than having false hope. Better to know. Good luck everyone!

Hi...I'm a new grad and applied to another hospital but I feel I'm bad with interviews. What kind if questions did h guys get and what kind if questions did h guys get in phone interview I'm so scared and intimidated :(
