Cedars-Sinai New Grad Summer 2013

Just thought it would be helpful to post a new thread for the upcoming new grad program starting this summer. I've seen the thread for the program last year and wanted to see if anyone was one of the first 250 who applied for it this year. I applied for cohort #1 and got a phone interview last week and the gentleman said that I'd receive an e-mail within 1-2 weeks. I've also heard of people getting rejection emails as well without a phone interview. Anyone have additional info they'd like to share? Good luck to all us new grads out there!

Oh noo I haven't got a rejection yet but now I'm even more nervous!!

I got accepted into cohort #1! They called me this afternoon and said they didn't know what unit yet, but that I would be doing nights. It's all so surreal I can't wrap my head around it yet. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear!

Got a Cohort #2 rejection email today. WHY?!?!?!?! LOL!!! Back to square one. Good luck to everyone else!

For once I'm glad I haven't heard anything yet! Not rejected yet...makes me more nervous though!

For those of you who have applied to the program, do the letters of recommendation have to be from clinical instructors or can they be from professors as well?

Literally JUST got my rejection letter to cohort 1.

RNBSN4: I can't remember off the top of my head, but I BELIEVE it was from clinical instructors and they preferred original copy only. :)
