Cedars-Sinai New Grad Summer 2012

Is anyone planning on applying to Cedars' new grad program this summer? I heard the applications will go up mid-March but so far there's nothing. I read on past threads that their application process is different from other programs so it would be nice to keep in touch and see how it goes for everyone.

Sounds good in theory. I'm still trying to figure out my living situation.

I'll be around July 14 weekend to look at places if you plan it then. Can't wait to hear more about orientation already!

In the first cohort there are 30.

After the drug testing we have to go to Cedars for a physical 1-2 weeks before start date. Cohort 1, that means we're almost there!

I got called by HR today to schedule a physical. :) Another step closer.

Me too. I'm trying to find a place the same week i go for physicals.

My friend who starts in Aug 6 was saying that you also have to meet with the HR the same day you have your appointment for the physical. I start on Aug. 20 but I havent gotten a call or email about the physical. Anyone else in the second cohort that didn't get a call or email? Or anyone in the second cohort who did? I figure they would start calling the first cohorts first. I already did the drug test so I am just waiting.

I too am starting Aug 20th and have completed the drug test but haven't heard anything since. I know they have scheduled physicals for the 1st cohort but I was beginning to get worried that I was left off or something! I have emailed twice and left a voicemail to check on my status but have not gotten a reply. hmmm i guess its just a waiting game ... hopefully they'll at least update us soon.

I start on august 20 and haven't heard from them either. I'm sure they'll get back to us soon. Can't wait for next month!!! :)

I'm in the first cohort and called and e-mailed questions as well...imagine that x 60+ new grads. I believe that there's also only one person working on our paperwork.
