Cedars-Sinai New Grad Summer 2012

U.S.A. California

Published

Is anyone planning on applying to Cedars' new grad program this summer? I heard the applications will go up mid-March but so far there's nothing. I read on past threads that their application process is different from other programs so it would be nice to keep in touch and see how it goes for everyone.

Specializes in Transplant, Med-Surg.

Hey there! I plan on applying too :) I got the same memo that they were going to open up a program in mid-March so hopefully we see something soon!

Specializes in ICU.

i plan on it too. i too got the same thing I checked yesterday and saw nothing. im just going to keep looking everyday.

just for FYI Cedar's requires a 3.5 or higher GPA and a minimum of a BSN

Yeah, I've heard that before. They must do it to cut down on the applicant pool. Do you know how many people they accept? Sounds competitive.

I too got an email, but the link she sent me doesn't work. What link are you guys using to check back?

That's good I didn't know that those were the min requirements. I feel like I have a good chance now lol. I used the link that I was sent.

cmp15, its Career Opportunities. The link she gave said career.

Oh it posted the name of the link instead of what I typed. What I was trying to say was that in the link it said career but it doesn't work unless you change it to careers.

Thanks so much :)

To use the king's English...are you for reals? I know cedar's is awesome but even UCLA isn't that specific. I wonder if they'd consider the cumm. GPA including pre-nursing/ non-nursing degrees.

Yeah, I'm still waiting. Hopefully they didn't cancel the program.
