Cedars-Sinai New Grad Summer 2012

Is anyone planning on applying to Cedars' new grad program this summer? I heard the applications will go up mid-March but so far there's nothing. I read on past threads that their application process is different from other programs so it would be nice to keep in touch and see how it goes for everyone.

is there any kind of job description?

after searching the req #, all i see is the phrase:

"no results matching your criteria"

any ideas?

i'm pretty sure this was posted for less than 24 hours, probably less than 12. i checked this morning and even then the job hadn't been posted.

i really feel horrible for those who missed their chance. i know some people had work and other circumstances that didn't allow them to apply the SECOND the position opened. i'm hoping it's a mistake and gives other people a chance to apply tomorrow?

And what if East Coasters were applying? That'd be crazy hours for them to apply. Let's hope it was a computer glitch.

I was at Starbucks when I got the text from my other girlfriends, CSMS is up! Luckily, we got in our apps several hours ago.

My one friend had called a few days ago and was told that CS changed their system to accept up to a certain limit of apps, once that number is met, it will close down the apps process. It wasn't so much leaving it open up for so many hours.

Since they required (preferred) BSN's and 3.50 GPA's, they will get more than enough qualified applicants to fill their program. Talk about stiff competition.

Seriously, I was mid application this morning and the application closed on me before I submitted it. Called HR and they can't do anything. After spending an 45 mins reworking my cover letter to fit this job and the application period closing on me I feel like $h!t. Really really really hating all of this right about now. :crying2:

Oh no....same thing happened to my girlfriend too! She's hoping it was just another computer glitch and just means you have to reapply again soon? Yes, a hassle but at least you guys can get the application sent thru?
