Hey everyone!

Just thought we could start a thread for those of us who interviewed for Cedars-Sinai's new grad program this past week.

yeah, i got my letter too thru email. then, i emailed her back and told her thanks for the opportunity. she replied and said, thanks for the effort blah blah....

What topics/areas/and questions does cedar sinai ask you so that I can sort of mentally prepare what I will say? Do they ask you behavioral type questions? anything would be helpful!

No not until the summer but I was just hoping to get a head start on it all.

well I work currently work at Cedars right now...been there for about 2 years. I believe th enext new grad program is in february. In the best interest, if you just want a job, especially at cedars, apply for a specialty that may not be of high interest, like Med/surge or whicever else. High interest in ER, PACU, and especially ICU you'll be competing. Then after a year there then you can change specialities to whicever you want. If you guys have any other questions feel free to ask me.

The nursing recruiter I talked to said only internal applicants will be interviewed for February. The next big new grad program is summer which she expects over 1500 applicants for a few hundred positions. I was just hoping for help with the interview portion? What types of questions are asked? I hear they score you? I am just curious what things they ask?

Hello wagne715 may i ask what do they mean by internal applicants? is it a plus if you already have this bls/acls/ivt trainings?

how do you apply for their new grad program? do you really just click on their website that says click here for new grads? or do they post a different one? i am getting hopeless i have applied to almost everything. hope you guys could help. im a newbie in everything.

Thank you!! I feel exactly the same way - I've applied to everything and it sucks that alot of places either cancelled new grad programs or not hiring at the time..
