  1. Hi Berny, Let me know how it goes, I'm a new grad as well and I just applied to the position online recently. This was the one posted on September. Thanks! Good Luck!
  2. I am so with you - contact me and maybe we could start something. I am so sick of people "experienced nurses" telling me "you're just being picky!" Believe me, I'm not - I recently went to a job fair and the sad thing is the new grad program is ONLY available to those graduating for less than 12 months!! So what happens to those that already graduated 1 year ago. It wasn't our fault the economy went bad when we got our licenses!!
  3. \ I called them at the end of April - they stated they are still debating whether to have a new grad program this year or not (it did not sound too positive - sucks) but they said to check back the mid of May... Hope that helps.
  4. Hi, Can you give me some suggestion also, I feel like I've applied to everything and they don't even take the time to look at your resume before tossing it into the large pile of junk as I have no response so far or they tell me that the new grad program has been cancel. Thanks in advance!
  5. Thank you!! I feel exactly the same way - I've applied to everything and it sucks that alot of places either cancelled new grad programs or not hiring at the time..
  6. Thanks!! Mines was pretty quick - thank god for that - I took mines on 2/5/10 and my name was posted on the ca brn today!! Hopefully yours won't take too long! Good Luck!!
  7. Just a quick note. This trick did work for me. I took the CA boards and tried this trick yesterday - today my name was posted on the brn!! I Passed!!
  8. Hi, I'm a nursing student with one year to go. I am interested in specializing in OR but would like more information on what the RN does in OR. We did not have this section in our rotation and I was curious about the duties that are involved and are the surgeons as hostile as some people state they are. Any heads up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Hong
