Cedars-Sinai  New Grad RN Residency for the Summer  2024 Cohort is open, with a start date of Monday, February 5, 2024!

‼️Program start day Monday, August 26, 2024. 

‼️Virtual Interviews will take place on July 17 or 18, 2024

Thank you! They just sent out the email for the connectivity test. Would you know if it's actually a test or a meet to go over questions we have etc?

 I Know I feel you and I graduated in December! The hospital I've been working at for almost 3 years has been on hiring freeze. They have 3 affiliated hospitals in my area, so it made things super competitive to get in elsewhere. Also I am not BSN yet (will be in May) and I've noticed such a difference when applying or not making it past 1st rounds. If you're in the same situation as me, technically I think we can keep applying until a year after we get our BSN. Either way...I've come to realize whatever is meant to be for us will be! we just gotta keep believing and trying 🤗

I think it's a meet to go over questions about the program and talk about benefits. I accepted the meeting as soon as they sent it today and saw about 107 applicants still pending acceptance. I don't know if there will be cuts after the interviews or people might decline their position.

I did not have to confirm my attendance for connectivity meeting. I only received the link. They also sent me the link to the interview, and that was the one I needed to confirm.

I got an interview for the PICU on 5/29!

Does anyone know what kind of questions they may ask? 😮

Congrats for PICU!! I wish I knew too but I do hear the Interview questions are more clinical based. 🤷‍♀️ not sure what that exactly means

Amazing! so did I, I am not sure but what I have heard from other new grads at other hospitals they did not ask any clinical questions for peds/ PICU. If you find out more info let me know 😁

OMG! Now you've made me nervous. I'm so sorry. You never know, sometimes we think we didn't do good but just to end up getting called.

Tips ?it's personal questions, so it's hard to know what they will asked, clinical questions are easy,fundamental stuff .. I was just not that articulate with my answers because all the questions I never really had experience
