Cedars-Sinai New Grad Program???

The other day I was on the cedars-sinai website looking at jobs when I noticed they had posted a new grad program job listing. I applied and received an e-mail confirming my application. I went on today to check my status and it said I never applied to the job... then when I checked for the listing, it was also gone! Does anyone know what happened? Did they cancel the program or something?

I'm slightly confused...

I applied for this as well a few weeks ago. You're right, the listing is now gone, and so is the status saying I've applied. The same thing happened to my Sharp application. The only thing I can think of is that once they close the position (no longer receiving resumes) that it's taken off of their system entirely. I have no idea if thats the case or what...

Happened to me too. Hmm.. I hope their program is still on and that they just closed the position to new applications.

I would give the HR department a ringy ding and inquire. Otherwise you may be waiting for a long time or forever with no answer forthcoming.

Spoke to HR...they are reviewing applications. Since the posting has been removed, you aren't able to see your application. No worries! Program has not been cancelled and we're still in the running

More info:

"Just spoke to someone in HR - they closed it out because they had over 2,000 apps. If one makes it to the "next round" we will be emailed by April 2nd."

I couldn't get a hold of someone in HR but one of my classmates was able to and the above is what she was told.

Hey I also called and they said the same thing -- not accepting any more applications, will contact us April 2nd if we made it to the next round. They must have gotten a TON of applications
