CCRI nursing fall 2016 evening program

Hi to all,

Hopefully we can start this thread with people who are thinking or going to apply to the fall 2016 evening program at CCRI.

When is everyone thinking of taking the HESI and what does everyone think of the new requirements and what that is going to mean for total points needed to get accepted into the program now?

Does anyone know how many applicants actually get accepted into Newport and Lincoln campus?

How long did it actually take everyone to get their HESI scores? I took mine this morning and I'm so anxious to know how I did!

I will be applying to all campuses except Newport. I have 178.3 points. The average seems to be around the 180s

I'm applying in February too, I have 172.3 points. The new point system really hurt me. I have an A in anatomy, but a B+ in psych and a B in English 1010.

I am applying too! I'll be applying to Providence, Warwick and also Lincoln for nights. I have 180.9 and am a little nervous, like everyone else I'm sure! It took me almost 2 years to complete the pre-reqs at night and now they've changed them all. But I would assume you still need all those classes to graduate- so if that's the case then I'm glad I have them done. Good luck to everyone :)

It will be a long two months of waiting now. With 181.8 points I would hate to have to take anatomy again to bring the B up next year but will if I have to. Taking microbiology now.

Hi! I applied today! I am really excited/nervous. I applied to all 4 campuses with Warwick as my first choice because it is days. I applied with 190.2 points. I have a feeling the application pool will be much larger because of the change in the prereqs. Fingers crossed and hoping the next two months go by fast! This wait is going to be tough! Have you taken Physiology? I am taking it now seems like it will be a tough class
