CCRI nursing fall 2016 evening program

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi to all,

Hopefully we can start this thread with people who are thinking or going to apply to the fall 2016 evening program at CCRI.

When is everyone thinking of taking the HESI and what does everyone think of the new requirements and what that is going to mean for total points needed to get accepted into the program now?

Does anyone know how many applicants actually get accepted into Newport and Lincoln campus?

On the 17th. Very excited

Congrats! I did as well what campus will you be attending?

Hi! I have to choose my biology class next week for the fall and was wondering what you thought of Royal? I know that Biology is a tough class, but is it possible to get an A?

Hey Tahiti, I am currently going into the nursing program this Fall in Lincoln. I had Royal for Anatomy last semester, and I got an A. IT WAS NOT EASY. I dedicated hours and hours of my time to studying every night. He is an amazing guy, but what he teaches is so vague, and you kinda have to dive deeper into the material all on your own in order to pass the tests. I'd say about 80% of my class of roughly 80 had left before the semester ended. Most people like to choose somebody else for anatomy, but just know that if you are REALLY motivated and driven, it is possible to get an A.

Thanks for the info! Would you mind telling me if you took this class by itself? I was thinking of doing developmental psychology at the same time, but if I need to take it by itself, I will. Congratulations on getting into the program!!!!

I had professor Royal, I liked him... many do not...no quizzes just exams and your lab practical...he's very nice and funny if you can appreciate his humor...if you can self motivate and study well you will get an A...I am neither and find anatomy a drag so I didn't get an A...now physiology I'll prob get the A bc I like concepts. I took anatomy with comp 1010 and general psych...good luck
