Hi, I'm hoping to be able to apply in February for fall 2016. I'm taking the 3 prerequisites now and took my hesi last week, I got 38 out of 40 pts. but I'm not as optimistic about anatomy....grrrr... comp and psych I'm not to worried about. What is the actual numerical grade for a b-? by the way the hesi wasn't that horrible :)
Wow you are taking all 3 classes right now in one semester. Anatomy is a really hard class and I am actually taking it now. I am thinking there are going to be lots of applicants in February unfortunately and it will be harder to get into the program. If only because the population of applicants will be larger
I took my LPN NCLEX in April but none of my classes carry over bc I went to a technical school this anatomy vs. the one I had is crazy..fingers crossed...but even if I pass with a B- i dont know if the points are gonna be enough...this point stuff is stressful and I think there will be a lot of competition too...
Hi all,
I am applying in February for the fall as well! I thought I was almost set at the end of the summer because I had already taken Physio, Dosage and Health Careers- until they changed the requirements Now I am in Anatomy, Psych and English all in the same semester. I've been working my tail off and hopefully it will pay off in 2 weeks here when the semester ends. I am waiting to take the HESI until after fall term ends. Good luck to everyone!
Hi guys, I am applying to the program in february as well. I have taken all the pre reqs and I am scheduled to take the HESI on monday. How was the HESI test I am nervous to take it because I get nervous with big tests and it counts as much as a course in terms of applying to the program. Did you all study for it?

Hi to all,
Hopefully we can start this thread with people who are thinking or going to apply to the fall 2016 evening program at CCRI.
When is everyone thinking of taking the HESI and what does everyone think of the new requirements and what that is going to mean for total points needed to get accepted into the program now?
Does anyone know how many applicants actually get accepted into Newport and Lincoln campus?
