I figured I would start this topic to lower my anxiety just a little. I took the health allied test today and I have to wait till next week to get my scores. I really feel like im on pins and needles right now and I know I'll be a nervous wreck when I actually wait for my acceptance. Before I even got started on my journey to be a nurse I came across this website and It really answered a lot of questions about the application process, and was insightful in other areas of nursing that enabled me to think of more questions for answering. what I really love the most was that in previous years ccp applicants supported each other during the nerve wrecking waiting period on getting accepted. that support was so tremendous that a lot of the applicants bonded and became friends. Is there anyone else that has applied for the 2014 CCP program?
AP2 is hard but if you study well and record the lectures you will do fine. I remember the first weeks of AP2. I was slacking and wasn't paying attention. I got my first two test and bam! I got a C's. I told myself this is no good and I better do well. Next exams, I was getting 90's. I got an A and also I love my professor, He was very funny and simplifies everything. It is about dedication and perseverance. No classes s easy without studying.
Yeap..am working full time. .I know it is gonna be hard..so am prepared and again I just got a call today that I have been accepted to Holy family university. So, I dont know about the class schedule with HF if it's gonna fit my work schedule
So are you going to HF then?? I asked this question because I recently got a job offer from an orthopedic hospital but the problem is it is a full time and can cause time conflict with nursing this fall. I have to call the HR about my schedule this Friday. I been wanting to work in the healthcare setting but because of a possible time conflict this fall... I hope the HR might find another open position that is available for me or make me a part time!! The pay and benefits sounds good too and its an entry level job which is an A-ok for me
Has anyone taken a&p2 for the summer? I'm taking it in this next semester coming up and am wondering how difficult it is. I did really well in ap1 but am a lil intimidated because is so accelerated.
I am taking AP 2 starting in July. I already started reading and reviewing to give me a head start since the class is accelerated.

In regards to that, I dont know yet until I recieve the formal letter and my class schedule
Anyone working full time while going to Nursing school? I am just asking if that is even possible??
I am also working full time. I always had a part time job while going to school full time the past semesters and I was taking 2 science classes plus English and a social science. It was hard but I still made good grades. I'm just wondering if the work load is going to be more or less with Nursing considering it's only 7 credit and technically half time. I'm a little nervous but I need my job to be able to pay for all the expenses.

What was the test like? I called there yesterday inquiring whether it was the NLN test or Teas. What type of score do you need?
