2014 CCP Nursing Program

I figured I would start this topic to lower my anxiety just a little. I took the health allied test today and I have to wait till next week to get my scores. I really feel like im on pins and needles right now and I know I'll be a nervous wreck when I actually wait for my acceptance. Before I even got started on my journey to be a nurse I came across this website and It really answered a lot of questions about the application process, and was insightful in other areas of nursing that enabled me to think of more questions for answering. what I really love the most was that in previous years ccp applicants supported each other during the nerve wrecking waiting period on getting accepted. that support was so tremendous that a lot of the applicants bonded and became friends. Is there anyone else that has applied for the 2014 CCP program?

immunizations!!! gets ur hep B done sinces it take a month to get the second shot. get ur titers and other shots done. buy ur books and start doing light reading. buy ur uniforms soon.

Thank you! How do I provide proof though? Should I get a doctors note with the official letter-head?

When you do the titers, the result will be given to you by the doctor and there might be additional report if u are not immune

And if u dont have insurance, go to esperanza hospital in philly..it cost me $100 on dot to do everything and if u are not immune the vaccines are free

Ok guys I wont be able to get the third shot before august 14, can we still the health forms in like that

it says if we have the 2nd shot before july 14 thats ok since we can get the 3rd shot in our second year

According to the woman I gave my cpr, health abd to today said I have till august 15 to submit but I didnt ask her abt the deadline first r the third vaccine

yes. thats the cpr, liability, and health coverage. they ae due on aug 15 but the health form is by July 14

Hey guys, I checked my financial aid status and it says "the status of your academic progress is Not Yet Reviewed as of Fall 2014". is it the same for everyone or do i need to go to school on monday

You are okay. On my bill it stated that award packages won't be posted until late July.

Same as yours for the fall. I am taking a summer class too. The message in reference to awards in the bill is a template message it was not just for my case. The awards have not been posted for the fall for many people. I would not stress too much. You could also call or email financial aid to confirm.
