I figured I would start this topic to lower my anxiety just a little. I took the health allied test today and I have to wait till next week to get my scores. I really feel like im on pins and needles right now and I know I'll be a nervous wreck when I actually wait for my acceptance. Before I even got started on my journey to be a nurse I came across this website and It really answered a lot of questions about the application process, and was insightful in other areas of nursing that enabled me to think of more questions for answering. what I really love the most was that in previous years ccp applicants supported each other during the nerve wrecking waiting period on getting accepted. that support was so tremendous that a lot of the applicants bonded and became friends. Is there anyone else that has applied for the 2014 CCP program?
I got the uniform and yes it has the logo of CCP. Question guys, i lost the package they gave us during orientation, Does anyone who should i give my immunization form? and where i can buy the liability ins?
Just saw the packet. It says all required documents must be submitted to the Dept. of Nursing W2-5
Which one did you pick?
I chose the professional Liability Insurance for individual. the area of study was for RN and status is student. The state was PA and they quoted me for $37 annual premium. effective date would be today June 12 but it says it will notify me is the request is approved. IDK they said it will give me a certificate for the insurance if approved.
I just checked it and they approved me the effective date is from June 12 2014 to june 12 2015. the profession is registered nurse and the status is nursing. I am going to mail them and ask iif i can change the effective date to August 10 since that was one of the option date.
When does your insurance effective date starts??
If anyone was impatient like me and didn't try on the uniform at orientation.... Be warned that sizes run very big and are not petite-friendly. I tried trying them on in store because I live right around the corner from one of their locations but they didn't have any sample sizes/don't keep them in stock.
Just thought Id warn my fellows child-sized people

haha thnx for the warning. i tried them on during orientation and i did have some problems with them. Some pants run too long, some are tight in the crotch area, some are baggy in that area. i was very unhappy fitting them. i even went back twice just t make sure i got the sizes right. i am petite like you, 5'2, i like the sizes except the pants. the pants are horrible!! too bad we can't wear other navy scrubs from different vendor because these pants has a logo.
Hey everyone, it's been awhile since I've checked in. I see most of you have started (or are almost finished!) with the immunizations and everything. I'm a little worried because I couldn't make it to the orientation on May 6th (I'm going to an alternate orientation on June 23rd) and I feel really behind on getting my stuff completed. I don't have the info on what exactly to get done so I don't wanna guess at it, but do you guys recommend anything I should be starting now, or a list of some sort? I have all my background checks done and am registered for CPR training already. Anything else you guys think I should know would be very helpful :)
