I figured I would start this topic to lower my anxiety just a little. I took the health allied test today and I have to wait till next week to get my scores. I really feel like im on pins and needles right now and I know I'll be a nervous wreck when I actually wait for my acceptance. Before I even got started on my journey to be a nurse I came across this website and It really answered a lot of questions about the application process, and was insightful in other areas of nursing that enabled me to think of more questions for answering. what I really love the most was that in previous years ccp applicants supported each other during the nerve wrecking waiting period on getting accepted. that support was so tremendous that a lot of the applicants bonded and became friends. Is there anyone else that has applied for the 2014 CCP program?
I have ordered the uniform I only paid the $25 deposit, all this expenses is killing meYeah walgreens is like 600 and cvs is like 700
The only option that may not be as expensive is one of the city health centers. You find one that is near you by going to http://www.phila.gov/health/services/Serv_MedicalCare.html. They provide low cost services based on your income if you don't have insurance. Y
So both health and liability for $38
The 38.00 covers the Liability Insurance we are required to get I purchased it also from the company listed in our paperwork.
Are we allowed to buy sneakers or nursing shoes like dansko or whatever. I know they must be white. I just wanna know before I order a sneaker
It can be a sneaker but make sure it is all leather and all white. You need to be able to clean them easily should anything get on them during clinicals such as blood or urine etc.
Anyone got their uniform yet?? do the pants and the shirt have a logo??
I did not get mine yet but I recall her describing the pants with a patch. I remember because this was different from what I had read in previous forums on All Nurses. You could give Flynn and O'Hara a call to be sure. I certain that they could verify this information for you.
