I just submitted my application to CCBCs Essex Day program for Fall '19. I immediately felt like I was going to puke! (hopefully this is a good indication?!) Anyway, I would love to connect with other applicants, so we can worry together.

When you applied did you have any classes left to take?

No other classes were needed prior to enrollment in the program for me.

I had ethics, a&p 2, and algebra last semester and I was accepted

Hi everyone,

I made this map for the Catonsville HTEC building (second floor only, where the nursing rooms are) because I always have a very hard time maneuvering the hallways, and I always seemed to exit a different stairwell each time!

I took some time and actually walked through the whole second floor and mapped it out, and its actually much simpler than I thought. I'm sure we'll all be experts in no time, but I figured this might help for the first few classes (and to help find the only restroom on the floor). It may not be 100% accurate/ to scale, but its something.

Does anyone have info on what times classes usually were or are for Day program. I want an Idea of when and what time clinical and lab will be so i can plan for work and other classes this semester. This is for CCBC Catonsville, and I am in ATB as well.

does anyone need their cpr certification?

my friend is a PA and teaches a class. I was hoping to get a group together for a class.

I think we need at least 5, maybe 10 people, but she charges $50 a person.

if anyone is interested let me know.

Anyone catch how the rest of program will go after first semester? Do we get winter, spring, and summer breaks?

If you're in an ATB program and this is your first Bachelor's you don't get any "breaks," really. You'll have classes in winter and summer semesters. If you aren't in an ATB program, you'll have winter and summer breaks. Last semester, our final for L&D was 5/12, pharmacology and dosage testing is 8/11. Our winter break lasted from 12/11 (ish- that feels like forever ago, honestly) until 1/7.
