Hello, I just stumbled onto this thread. I am starting the ccbc Essex evening weekend nursing program in a few weeks. I am looking for best advice about textbooks. I have found some that are an edition behind and wondered if it really poses a disadvantage? Wondered if I should wait until the first week of classes and the. If they aren’t what I need then go to the bookstore, it is just SO expensive. Looking for any support, advice, or guidance. Thanks to all!

No other classes were needed prior to enrollment in the program for me.

Yes, I have enrolled to the dosage course on BB, still a little confused on some of it. Might try to look on YouTube for explanations as well. I haven’t gotten all the books yet. Is the bookstore the best option or somewhere like Amazon? Thanks for the input!

I applied back in January to the evening/weekend program and was recently accepted! Start date is August 13th and it feels like there is so much to do beforehand. I am very excited, but nervous about balancing the workload and not knowing what to expect content wise this semester. Any tips for dosage practice? I want to get a strong understanding of that before the start of the semester if possible. Thanks, Ashley
