Hi all!
I just submitted my application to CCBCs Essex Day program for Fall '19. I immediately felt like I was going to puke! (hopefully this is a good indication?!) Anyway, I would love to connect with other applicants, so we can worry together.
Hoping to hear back from some of you!
Aly
Any Frostburg people on here? Have you heard anything back from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) after submitting your acceptance email? I feel like its so informal (no seat fees, no formal acceptance letters, no acceptance contracts...), and I always wonder whether (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) actually gets any of my emails . Just wondering if anyone else is feeling this way?

I haven’t heard anything. I did the same as you, send my email. So just waiting. I would like something more formal but I guess since I have no other choice I’ll be waiting. Lol

I emailed them as well, but only got a vague email saying I have to wait for (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) to send out more information. It makes me feel anxious and feeling like I should have chosen Towson because they seem to be on top of everything, and tell you up front what you need to know. For example, I didn't even know that we have to take an online 6 week intro course for Frostburg this summer before we can begin the "real" courses! I think its free, but still, would have been nice to know beforehand.
I'm enrolled in the Frostburg ATB, and I received a "semester plan" from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) about a week after I sent my acceptance back. The orientation course is a joke- seriously. And to be perfectly honest, I am more and more grateful every single day that I went with Frostburg. The work load is super manageable (even with CCBC classes, working full time and being a single mom). I don't know if it's just my incessant obsession with managing and prioritizing my time, but others in my cohort chose other ATB programs and they feel very overwhelmed- especially earlier this semester doing Concepts I and their ATB course.
