CCBC, Fall 2011 Applicants =)

Hello Everyone,

Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.

For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).

I still have not had my status changed on My Simon but out of curiosity, I went ahead and web registered for the dosage class for the summer and the Nursing for Professionals class in the Fall semester and the system registered me. I don't know if that is a sign that I am admitted...

AHHHHHHH it allowed me to register for Dosage too!!!!!!!!!! Oh please oh please let this be a sign!!!!

No i applied to Essex Day program. You? My Simon still says Under Review and I saw what you wrote so i tried to register and it let me! I don't think we would be able to register for nursing classes unless we were in the program. I'm not going to freak out and get super excited until I'm positive I got in, but still it gives me a little hope!

I applied to online Catonsville. It allowed me to register for dosage for Summer & NURN 153 Fundamentals of Nursing Concepts (Hybrid) for fall. I hope I find out soon I am trying to get my kids schedules completed which of course is contingent on what I am doing!

NURN 153 says that this is the prereq:

Prerequisites: Admission to the nursing program. Successful completion of NURN

005 Dosage for Nurses.

NURN 005 lists this as the prereq:

Prerequisites: Admission to the nursing program. Eligibility for college math requirement, BIOL 220, BIOL 221 (both with a grade of "C" or higher), ENGL 101, PSYC 101.

So, that makes me a bit more hopeful!

See I think that has to mean something!!! I feel like running upstairs and waking my sister up to get her to try and register for a nursing class and see what would happen... however I know she'd kill me! haha If my Simon hasn't changed in the morning I will definitely have her try it. I'm thinking maybe they just didn't have enough time to enter in all the students information. I mean who knows what they have to do to actually key them in or whatever, and if there really were 500 applicants and probably one person entering the information that would take a while. Eeeek I'm just so nervous! but what you posted definitely has me thinking positively!

So happy! SIMON says Accepted! (Essex/Evening) Was worried because I am still in Micro and A&P II and everyone said it wouldn't happen....you just never know.

Congrats to everyone who got in! My heart is still racing.

i just got off the phone with shp. they said they will not tell me what letter a means. i am guessing in is not good news! this sucks! i don't think i can do this a 3rd time. :( also, i heard another girl got their rejection letter yesterday and it said the same thing (shp mailed letter a).

for anyone who got wait-listed, does your status say wait-listed or did you get a letter?
