Applications are due on August 15th so I wanted to start the thread for all of us hoping to get in for the Spring 2014 semester! I'm currently taking Bio 110 (my last pre-req) and will send my application for Allegheny Evenings in on Thursday when my class is over. I have a BSBA already so I have all of the co-reqs done except Micro, A&P 1 &2. I probably won't get in because of it but my GPA is pretty decent so it's worth a shot anyway! Plus, with the changes in the point system it might work out. I'm taking Micro and A&P 1 this fall. I don't plan on applying anywhere else.
Anyone else? What are your stats? What campus did you select? Do you have any questions for the community?
Congrats!!! Do you know anyone else who got in...what was their gpa with added points for the science classes? I'm so nervous I have not got a letter yet.
THANKS!!! I don't know anyone else who got in so far. Boyce was my second choice and Allegheny Day was my first. I was told by ***** **** that Allegheny has 40 seats day and 40 seats evening and Boyce Day has 80 seats only for Day though. And an additional 40 but for only cal U students. I guess the 40 seats at Allegheny where filled so I got in Boyce instead. They go in ascending order from your gpa with the added points. My letter was Dated Friday September 13th I received it today. They are sending the letter in waives I believe because I have to accept my seat by returning a form to the Dean of Nursing, if not they give it to someone else. But I live 10 minutes away from Allegheny campus so I received my mail right away. They also told me Boyce will be sending me a information packet. Not sure where you stay but they have to send you a letter either way. Good Luck!!
no I'm at work again and I have class tonight so I won't find out until much later tonight. did you get your mail yet? I'm surprised there aren't more people on here. the other classes had tons of people talking about their acceptances
