Hi everyone! I'm new here, i'm wanting to apply to CCAC nursing program in the spring for the fall 2015. Wondering if anyone else out there is in the same boat? Or can i get some advice? I'm wondering if we're allowed to turn in reccomendations etc. I'm concerned because when i first started college i didnt care about my grades so my GPA is very low right now but i have all of the pre-reqs and co-reqs out of the way except A+P 2 and micro. Hoping to take those in the Spring/Summer. Has anyone else ever gotten in with a low GPA? Also, I keep seeing things about different campuses and people saying their "Allegheny evening" or "North Day".. where do you find out those schedules?? Thanks everyone!!
Hey Guys, I received this email earlier yesterday.
"Information and applications for the Nursing Program will be available at www.ccac.edu on January 15th.

One way or another I will get my hands on that application and forward the source here for you guys :) Hopefully it definitely goes up the day the email states. @LadyWinter, if I do not get in, I will be going towards another program of choice at that point. But I do hope that if I don't get in, that at least some of you do
Hi everyone! I just applied for the Fall 2015 nursing program and am hoping for the Boyce fast track. I have a BS and MS and work as an OT now but have always wanted to be a nurse. I am applying with a 5.4 GPA after the bonus (havent taken a and p 2 yet) and am taking other co-reqs that I need to try to get them out of the way this semester. I am so nervous about getting in since it seems so competitive! Good luck everyone!
Hi, steelersgirl86. When I emailed in my application, I did NOT receive a confirmation that it was received. I used my CCAC email account. I did CC myself and save a copy in "sent-mail", but I could have also checkmarked "Request a Read Receipt". Nonetheless, I have an electronic record of my submitted application, and I hope that the admissions committee prints and reviews it.
On other topics...
I called and emailed the school several times before I heard back from them about my official high school and college transcripts. The menu and operators kept transferring me to voicemails, and no one would return my calls. One person who helped me was named Patricia. You can find her and other Registration and Advisement employees' direct contact information in the CCAC directory (https://www.ccac.edu/Directory/Advanced/).
On my application, I selected only one campus/time to apply to, because the other options would not work well for me. With my As in microbiology, A&P I and II, and all of my other non-nursing classes, I have a 6.25 GPA, so I am hoping to be accepted...
@TillyBiff - Thanks for responding! I have been having a heart attack over this issue for weeks. I didn't want to submit twice but no one would return my phone calls or emails about it. I'm glad I'm not the only one who submitted via email. I guess we will find out in 6 weeks!
My GPA with bonus is a 5.474, I have all co-reqs done except for HG&D.
