I'm putting this page up pretttty early but only because I'm excited lol. I wanted to create a place for those applying next spring for fall 2019 to start to be able to talk about our journeys as we finish pre reqs or Co reps(all non nursing courses)for those shooting for the fast track at Boyce like myself! I'm currently for finishing up a summer semester of intermediate Algebra, intro to psych, and English 102. In the fall I'll be taking A&P 2 and human development, then finish off all non nursing courses with A&P 2 in spring 2019 and microbiology in summer 2019 just before fall start 😊. Where are you at on your journey?

course point plus/fundamentals of nursing is backordered at ccac north but we have 50 pages to read from it and videos to watch before the first day of class?! I called the bookstore and the guy sympathized with me but basically said tough luck. I feel behind and class hasn't even started yet. I wonder if any other campus may have it.

Allegheny doesn't have it either.

If you guys are talking about the Lippincott bundle that comes with the Taylor’s Clinical Skills textbook, Lippincott DocuCare, Lippincott CoursePoint+ for Jensen AND for Taylor. Ccac Boyce had a bunch of the bundles. Around $890.

I am so frustrated. I might not be able to be in the program anymore because of CastleBranch. They needed more documents for some of my immunizations. After they were rejected I uploaded new ones on the 6th and they’re still saying pending review. I called this morning and they’re saying it will take up to another 4 business days to review again, meanwhile it’s already been a week. I need everything completed on CB by Monday, NO WAY that’s going to happen. So so angry right now ?

Do you know who is in charge of your CastleBranch for your campus? If so email and call them today. They can override CastleBranch and accept things as long as they see them. I know that if you are in the process of receiving immunizations they can let you attend clinical. This week I had to resubmit my physical because not all the documents uploaded. The lady from CB I talked to was super helpful and put a rush request in for my documents to be reviewed. They reviewed and accepted my documents within 2 hours of my phone call.

Mrs. Susi is in charge of North Campus CB! I emailed her and waiting to hear back! The Hepatitis B was a little confusing the way it was worded so I think that’s what screwed me up and why it got rejected in the first place. The woman I spoke to from CB was not that nice, but That is such a relief to hear though! I hope everything gets fixed and I can still attend. I’m trying to be patient but it’s hard when school starts Monday.. ?

So North campus bookstore started selling the wrong edition of the lippincott bundle, because they ran out of the correct bundle. They sent an email telling us about the error, but now I STILL don't have the book to do the readings before class ? SO frustrated!!!

While on the topic of books.... I wanted to share about the ATI bundle. Apparently I wasn't the only one that misunderstood about the cost of the ATI bundle. I thought they said it was 300 for 110/120 and 130/140 which would be split into two payments. The first bundle is $368.25 and the second (the 130 code) is roughly $352. I didn't want anyone else to be surprised.

On Friday I tried to buy the drug handbook and assessment cards and they were out of both! Luckily I found them on amazon ? I’m sure North Campus Instructors will understand about the Lippincott situation! I would say atleast half the class said they didn’t have the book when we had the meeting because the bookstore said they wouldn’t be in until yesterday!

I bought my ATI bundle from the north bookstore and mine came with the code? I only paid $368. Also, do we have to have the assignments done and the pre lab done before class or not considering most of our books are I correct or people don’t have them?
