I'm putting this page up pretttty early but only because I'm excited lol. I wanted to create a place for those applying next spring for fall 2019 to start to be able to talk about our journeys as we finish pre reqs or Co reps(all non nursing courses)for those shooting for the fast track at Boyce like myself! I'm currently for finishing up a summer semester of intermediate Algebra, intro to psych, and English 102. In the fall I'll be taking A&P 2 and human development, then finish off all non nursing courses with A&P 2 in spring 2019 and microbiology in summer 2019 just before fall start 😊. Where are you at on your journey?
The closeness is what I'm afraid of. I'm going to be so mad if I have to come out of pocket for another drug test. Because the school wasnt calling me back about my Hep B titer I started the series which cost $310! Now I'm broke. No money to pay for another drug test. Ugh. Also trying to contact them bc I was supposed to receive a website to start preparing for my LPN entrance exam and never received that information either. I hope this isnt indicative of the whole program.
I actually took my drug test At the beginning of June. When I realized it wasn’t suppose to be done until July 21st I contacted the school. I had to purchase a new drug test for $70 but totally worth it considering they won’t accept it outside of the date so I would have had to reapply to the program.

????????
So why did Castlebranch send me a message saying it was due?
How do I purchase a new drug test since I obviously gave to now?
I'm so sorry that happened to both of you!
I'm glad I pushed my old pediatrician to search for my vaccination records, I never would have been able to afford the series at this point.
I'm sure summer hours and minimal staff isn't helping matters, I'd just keep calling and doing what you can. If you can get in touch with someone maybe see if they'll accept it only one week before the window?
I hear ya, it was a real struggle to get my records... I'm not exactly "young" anymore so my records were on paper in a storage facility somewhere.
CB did tell me after I was on hold for an hour that CCAC could manually accept a titer result, but at this point who knows if anything CB says is accurate.

They will, that's what part of my call was for but no one called me back after numerous calls and emails so better safe than sorry with the deadline approaching I started the series again.
I hear you all on this ? Does anyone else still have documentation to submit besides the drug test? It is my understanding that the drug test can be done and uploaded AFTER the July 24th due date... But I am not sure. This has all been very confusing.
Anyone been able to get in touch with anyone from the school regarding deadlines? I still have several documents pending approval from Castlebranch, and also have not received my fingerprints in the mail yet!

If you go onto Castle Branch under drug test there is a document for you to download and print to take with you when you get the drug test. If you print that form out there is a list of sites where you can go to take your drug test.
After I e-mailed Amber Reed in regards to the hep B titer she forwarded my e-mail to the appropriate people at North Campus. One of them so kindly reminded me that the castle branch packet I received during our meeting had the correct person to contact with any questions. So if you still have your packet look on the front page and see if it lists who you can e-mail with questions.

It seems like everyone is getting a range of answers from CB. Sorry the school is being non-responsive too that's gotta be super frustrating but we're soooo close.
