Hello!
This is being created for the CCAC nursing students who have applied to the Fall 2018 semester. I saw one that was created for the Spring 2018 and thought it would be great to connect and share information for those of us that are hoping for this coming Fall.
So, when do you think we will hear back if we got in or not?
What were your TEAS scores?
How many of you have taken the prereqs and supporting classes?
What campus did you choose and why?
Is this your first career or are you looking for a second career?
I'll put my answers in the comments below. I look forward to connecting with you all and am excited to hear about your adventures!
Hi! Congratulations!! I just received my acceptance letter to North Campus Evenings! I didn't get the orientation letter, though. Does yours say anything about when we take our background checks, fingerprints, drug screens, etc? I read somewhere that we might be able to use documents from the past year and was wondering how true that is.
Thanks! I got accepted to Boyce fast track. It seems castle branch does the background check, FBI and child abuse clearances for you. The paper also says it isn't due till end of july, so you have time. Also its 171$...ugh. Also, the packet says the background, FBI and child abuse clearance cannot be used from old jobs. They need to be completed after the acceptance date. Though previous titers and TB tests can be used.

To add on to this, the book store doesn't always have the nursing books until you start the semester. I know one of my classmates was going to sell hers. Also you will need to buy the ATI books and codes, those were expensive, along with the nursing book bag and supplies. I spent around $1300 on books and I didnt need one of them so that saved me a few hundred. And you'll have to buy scrubs for clinical, two pair, a warm up jacket and two shirts cost me around $200 because they are greys anatomy brand and they are monogrammed.
