Hello!
This is being created for the CCAC nursing students who have applied to the Fall 2018 semester. I saw one that was created for the Spring 2018 and thought it would be great to connect and share information for those of us that are hoping for this coming Fall.
So, when do you think we will hear back if we got in or not?
What were your TEAS scores?
How many of you have taken the prereqs and supporting classes?
What campus did you choose and why?
Is this your first career or are you looking for a second career?
I'll put my answers in the comments below. I look forward to connecting with you all and am excited to hear about your adventures!
So informed delivery shows I have something coming from CCAC. Hopefully it is my letter. Is anyone else showing something on informed delivery today?
I never received a notice on informed delivery, I received acceptance packet yesterday. And I still don't know if I've been accepted to Allegheny day or evening. But I pray that you get your letter today!

Oh no hopefully i got in and it is not a letter saying i did not get in. Now i am nervous.

Don't be nervous we are all getting notified in different ways. It's crazy. Some got the acceptance letter first, some got the packet, and some of us got an email. I still haven't gotten anything to confirm my seat yet..
Do you know what books they use first semester? I'm looking to get a head start if possible. I heard learning the pharmacology might be smart.
They will tell you that you can either buy the books separately or in a packet, the packet is cheaper, it sells you first semester and second semester books for around $400ish. You dont do much pharmacology in first semester other than passing drugs at clinical, you will need to know about the drugs your passing and what their actions are, so having a good drug book is a bonus! I bought one from barnes and noble it was $50. You'll need a stethoscope, pen light, and white shoes for clinical.
