This is being created for the CCAC nursing students who have applied to the Fall 2018 semester. I saw one that was created for the Spring 2018 and thought it would be great to connect and share information for those of us that are hoping for this coming Fall.
So, when do you think we will hear back if we got in or not?
What were your TEAS scores?
How many of you have taken the prereqs and supporting classes?
What campus did you choose and why?

Just a reminder, if they are waiting to see how many have to repeat courses, this week is finals week. Good luck to those who haven't received letters yet. Like I said before, I am in the program now, about to finish my first semester, just registered for my second semester classes, of course those classes are pending on if you pass first semester classes which I expect to do. If you have any questions let me know! We were clueless coming into the program and lost so if we can help anyone and ease their worries over the summer until fall I think it would be awesome.
So I haven't takes my a&p2 class yet and I want to get it done ASAP. Unfortunately I cannot do it over the summer semester. Do you think it is possible to start my nursing classes and do a&p2?
It's definitely possible! It'll be hard but you can totally do it, best time to do that would be your first semester anyways considering there wouldn't be clinical yet. Anyone get a letter yet this week?
I did not get a letter yet this week. I did email Amber last week and asked her when they were going out and i did not recieve a response. I hope it comes soon!
I got a call from Amber Reed while I was taking a final today and by the time I was done she was out of the office for the day! Did anyone else get a call? I'm so curious what she wanted it's going to drive me nuts all night lol!
Well I received and email tonight stating that I have been admitted the nursing program as an LPN to RN transition student. It just explains that I will recieve my acceptance letter and additional information. So I'm in!!! Yay!!!
Yes, dont expect amazing grades in both classes but it is possible. My classmate had to do the same and it was hard but possible. If possible purchase your books early and start the readings for nursing classes early.
