Does anyone understand what we are pay $130 bucks for with this certifiedbackround.com thing? I realize they do the backround check and send our uploaded documents wirelessly to the school but I could have done it cheaper and personally taken my documentation to them.

I just assumed it was like a catch all program for everything, but we still have to pay for the child abuse, finger prints, drug test. Now that the excitement is wearing off the anxiety about all of the costs is starting to kick in. Reality sucks lol.

I started back in 2011 and payed over 1500 for my books and everything and had to drop cause my mom got terminally ill and I lost it all. Now I have to pay all over again and to top it all off they they droped the lpn to rn class that was 3 weeks long and now we have to start at nur 130 &140. The old program we didnt.

That's how I'm feeling , like I'm still confused about what I had to pay for smh oh well we must do what we have to do to get in OFFICIALLY lol!!!

I'll do it, but not with a smile on my face lol. I am just so glad the acceptance/rejection part is over. I have decided though that I only need one pair of scrubs to start with. I already do laundry for five people, I think I can handle making sure my scrubs are laundered once a week.

So I'm still waiting on my packet. I guess me and 39 other Lpn's! They said I will get it by next Friday. If not call them back. Really!! They sure aren't giving us much time.

Wow, these little costs sure are adding up! $15 here, $27 there! With CertifiedBackground, scrubs, titers, and clearances, I'm already a few hundred down (with sore arms from all the shots and draws) and haven't bought books or shoes! I keep thinking about all the money I'll be saving by not having a social life for the next two years...

I did like registering for classes, though. It felt a little more real (and I don't have to plunk down that money right away). Hope you're all doing well and making your way through your list of requirements.
