It all depends on if you are a CNA or not! It can also depend on if you have experience, most people who have a certification and experience make more! We also do phlebotomy and do ECGs that factors into it as well. I do believe that starting out with no experience and without a CNA license it is around 10 dollars an hour.

Hey , I am a current employee and nursing student starting this fall! As a employee you receive 3500.00 per calendar year. If you are a nursing student at west penn hospital , than you will owe them 2 years and if not like me you can not leave the hospital 12 months after each payment you receive , if you do leave for any reason just make sure it's after the 12 months lol! Besides that its a great reimbursement plan and a lot of nurses I work with use the money for there BSN program! Good luck on your future endeavors!!

Okay great I'm not the only person that was Highly ****** when this occurred !!! I called ccac and and almost lost it lol but fortunately they were understanding enough to apologize !! But ladies and gents one thing I realized we aren't the first and the last to deal with this type of bs , from what I understand we are lucky compared to previous classes lol so I think instead of complaining which I was very guilty of ; I believe we should now look at this as lesson to to cross our Ts and dot our Is lol CCAC is notorious for being disorganized. After I blew some smoke and thought about what they lacked , it just made me realized to ALWAYS ask questions , double check, and to take my time! I was in such a rush to get things done but but now ill take my time because CCAC changes so freaking much! So anyway despite that minor setback I'm happy to see I wasn't alone lol and we are all showing how much we deserve to be in this program!!!!

This is beyond awesome !! People will do so much better in life if they would stop playing the victim role and take responsibility for themselves !!! I think I will be printing this for nursing school this fall

This is for all my followers of Christ! Take the high road and pray for those that are lost simple as that ! Do as Jesus did when he encountered unbelievers , simply walk away and don't take it to heart :) !

For the lady who decided to dissect my story lol this one is for you ! Number one , don't try to take bits and pieces out of my paragraph to falsely justify how you feel . 2. If you don't desire my truth I sleep fine , and you could have just kept scrolling lol it's not worth it right? 3. Go back and CORRECTLY read what I said when comes down to have a MATURE conversation with a patient about religion, it's not uncomfortable if they ask you ! Also trust me I wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't put the patients needs first ! MOVING ON !! 4. Oh I never fear losing my job because once again you didn't read or just picked out what parts you wanted to attack , that's how people in the dark operate so half the things you said are of course IRRELEVANT!! 5. As the job thing goes I serve a God that provided me with a awesome job and yours as well so trust me like I said if you would have read what i said , and had not been so focused on attacking me then you have understood even if you didn't agree and like i said before ,be there done that MOVING ON!

Re read what I said and than ask me that question again? Lol never did I once say it was about me or I needed to know what religion someone else is , I honestly could care less. What I said was , if THEY were interested I am a mature Christian that I could sit down and have a personal conversation about our beliefs . Honestly that's all I can say to u because people like you who like to twist up others words , it's not even worth having a conversation with because u only have one intention and that is to only focus on how u feel . I don't need to argue with you or prove anything so if u disagree oh well and btw I was very serious ! Also I am not led by religion but by Jesus to different things try studying that .

Hello Suzie, I was looking around all nurses for people whom I can connect with as well that believe in Jesus, especially in today's world . I admire your accomplishments and wanted to ask you a question ? I am currently in starting nursing school in the fall and I have struggling to find a balance between studying for school and studying the bible and building a more intimate relationship with Jesus. I asked u this because u have accomplished so much, how do u find the time to really get close to God and do everything else lol ??

It has everything to do with how we as Christians take care of our patients. I have worked in a hospital for 3 years now while going to nursing school and everyday is how I present myself and should represent Jesus and his ways. I treat my patients with love respect and dignity regardless of their religion. Never will I force my relationship with Jesus on someone else . If they have question I give them the truth and i have had great conversations with many ppl from different beliefs because you know why ?!! I am one a child of God that can hold a respectful interesting conversation with someone of a different belief then I do without getting ***** lol. Also it is our business on wether someone is saved or not ; I can't save them because only God can do that but if one person were to ask questions I will never turn them down or be to timid because I might lose my job. Be there ,done that and he has always supplied me with everything I have ever need. So to you, it does matter wether you want it to or not.

I just know ill spend most of time studying lol, and I don't think it's a huge difference but I won't underestimate them lol
