Hello,
Is anyone else in the process of applying for CCAC for fall? Right now I'm waiting for the office to finish pulling up all of my transcripts and paperwork so that I can turn in my application. I'm doing the LPN to RN, so if I get accepted I should be graduating with the class that is currently in the program. Anyone else doing LPN to RN? I'm hoping to be accepted at Allegheny. That's where I've done all of my prereq classes. My second choice is South Campus.
It is very competitive with lots of applications. Like I had stated on here somewhere, my daughter had a 4.0 and a 3.9 in high school but is taking a/p I now so no extra points. When I applied I had a 4.0 and an extremely high pax score. When they got rid of the pax, it threw a wrench in the works.
From what I understand they increased the number of seats at each campus. When they tell you that not everyone will graduate the program, it is true. Don't let that discourage you. Just make it so YOU DO graduate. It is hard and it is vigorous.
I have my fingers crossed for you a friend of mine got her letter and it simply said there were not enough seats even though she met the requirement... did they automatically put you on a wait list or did you have to ask? I hope that you get in you never know!I finally got my letter. Ugh. im qualified but didn't get in. i called amber & im on a waiting list. i have a 3.1 gpa took a&p 1 & micro. im currently in ap2. I even passed the pax. exam with 89 percentile. yes i know it' not used anymore. So frustrated wwith ccac
yes i know. thank you for your concern. but i didnt last year when i applied because i didn't have 12 credits & was out of school 6 years. Im done with all my classes ok the list but the nursing. I don't what to do.i can't in the day because my work pays for my school & most diploma schools are doing the day.It is very competitive with lots of applications.
