Hello,
Is anyone else in the process of applying for CCAC for fall? Right now I'm waiting for the office to finish pulling up all of my transcripts and paperwork so that I can turn in my application. I'm doing the LPN to RN, so if I get accepted I should be graduating with the class that is currently in the program. Anyone else doing LPN to RN? I'm hoping to be accepted at Allegheny. That's where I've done all of my prereq classes. My second choice is South Campus.
Hi,
I graduated from CCAC's nursing program in 2009 and have just got my BSN from Penn State. I just wanted to give you future nurses some advice. Currently, the nursing field is highly competitive. If you look on this forum many new grads are having trouble just finding a job. I would suggest that while in school you work as an aide. Also, it is a tough program and you pretty much will not have a life for the next two years. Study hard and you will be fine. Good luck
I got my packet with my acceptance letter (for Boyce) We have a group registration on May 14th. There are 6 diffrent schedules you can get. It is done by lottery so you may not get to choose. Also there will be scrub fittings this day.
You need CPR, Medical exam, Drug test, Criminal Record, Child Abuse, FBI fingerprints all by July 13th.
Then our Orientation is August 15th
Good Luck Everyone!
that's weird ...what campus are you going to? Is there anything else we have to do to keep our seats besides all of the clearances, vaccines, fingerprints, physical or anything else....what I am gettin at is there an acceptance fee or do we have to send something in saying that we want to keep our seat?My packet came before my letter.

Congrats everyone!! I am finishing up in a few weeks and will be graduating from South campus. CCAC has a wonderful program. It is frustrating in the beginning to get everything together but it really is a good program. I am sorry to those who did not get the campus of their choice. I had a friend who transferred between campuses. She started at Allegheny and failed second semester. She transferred to South to retake that semester then transferred back to Allegheny. There was also another girl who got accepted to Boyce, completed first year there and then transferred to South for second year.
