Catheter in pierced penis

Hey guys question. If I get a patient with UTI and needs foley catheter but has member pierced do we get piercing out ? Does patient get it out or we insert catheter with piercing in place? Thanks

I imagine it would depend on what type of piercing it was. They don't all go through the urethra do they? If it was one that did, like the Prince Albert, then yeah, he would have to take it out.

I'd say it'd depend on whether or not the anatomy would accommodate the foley with the piercing left in place, or not.

dont forget to remove it if hes having an MRI too..cuz that will def. leave an ouchie for him :(
