Oh my gosh. Hi Janet...I am moving to Phoenix in 13 days so I am trying to work with them online right now. Lol...great to meet you, my name is Elizabeth...congrats as well! Can't wait to get this adventure started. :)

That's crazy, I'm in the same boat. Moving to phoenix from Idaho in 2 days. Nice to meet you too. Super excited as well. I wonder when orientation is going to take place? But April 11th can't come soon enough!

Ok okay, I am coming from Kansas City, KS. I was wondering about the orientation as well, maybe they will hand us our books, scrubs, on the first day of class? I've heard some people say that. Gonna have to do some school shopping when I get to Phoenix, so looking forward to that too. Lol

Have you ever been here before? Bring shorts! LOL. You are going to come from your beautiful spring weather to HOT! And I know - most of my Phoenix peeps are like "it's not hot yet!" and it's not, but to YOU, it will be HOT! I am from Phoenix, but my husband is in the Army. We just spent the last 7 years living in Kansas and we came back here last summer - in JUNE - talk about SHOCK. Just sayin' - it's not hot here yet, but you won't need your sweaters, hoodies and jackets anymore because you are still used to the cool weather. Oh, and congrats on getting into your program! Good luck - and remember to bring water with you everywhere!! =)

I am originally from California, I just got out of the Army after 7 years. I was stationed in Fort Riley, KS. But yes, I've been to Phoenix before during the summer. I was also stationed in Fort Irwin, CA...so I know how that 115 degree weather is. Haha...I don't plan on staying in AZ, I plan on moving to San Diego after I pass the NCLEX. Thanks for the advice though! í ½í¸Š

How funny - such a small world! We were stationed at Ft. Riley for the 7 years (prior to last June)! I bet we were there together. What unit were you in, if you feel like sharing of course.

Yeah pretty small world. Lol...I was with 541st CSSB. We were the soldiers that wore the sword patches instead of the Big Red One patches. Lol...I'm sure you saw a few of us wearing them. Haha...
