Carpool to Weatherford

Hi All,

I'll be commuting to Weatherford College from Arlington beginning this fall. Is there anyone in the area interested in carpooling to the ADN program?

What program are you going to be in?

I applied for the nursing program there as well as TCC and am commuting from Fort Worth.

I applied to both too. I think that I'll get into Weatherford but TCC is iffy.

I had 23. I sent an email to the coordinator asking her what the cutoff was at the present. She said that there were 90 applicants so far and that people with 20 and higher were getting in. She did say that she thought some making 20's would be alternates. Sounds like you're in.

As a grad of WC I just wanted say congratulations! They have a really good program. Also - go to a movie, read a novel, have some fun, because you're about to be busier than you can imagine. And it's worth it.

Hi there! I have some ?'s How do you feel about the program? (WC had some bad stigma, but I don't know if it was legitimate.) At which hospitals are your clinicals? Is the nursing department flexible as far scheduling for commuters? The department chair stated to me that they consider the commute of students when assigning the Thurs skills lab as opposed to the 1/2 day Friday skills lab. And what are the theory days/times? One last thing, how many of the original applicants are still standing from your group? Thanks!

I'll be in the program this fall as well... anyone have any insight on the instructors there. Any advice? It sounds like there will be a lot of us making the drive from Fort Worth. Thanks
