Hi guys!
I have applied for Carolinas College of Health Sciences pre-nursing and nursing programs for the fall 2013. After applying I recieved a letter stating that they were also going to consider me for the summer pre-nursing term even though at the time I had no idea they even had a summer program (therefore my application was processed after the summer pre-nursing application deadline but if I got in I would still be very happy!). I was wondering, if I do not get into the pre-nursing summer program or the nursing program for the fall, am I going to find out if I got into the pre-nursing program for the fall in the same letters or is that all in all a seperate letter in itself!? Just wondering if anyone could let me know that would be great! Very anxious to hear back!!
Hi everyone!
This thread has been so helpful, especially with how the pre-nursing and nursing program works! Thanks! I just want some opinions with the likelihood of being accepted into the nursing program for Spring 2014. I just finished my application and applied for both pre-nursing and nursing for Spring 2014. My high school GPA was a 2.84 and for my SATs I got a 1020. I have some college credits (was pursuing a different major and decided that wasn't for me) and had a 2.6 GPA. Do you guys think there is even a slight possibility of being accepted into the nursing program for the spring? Thanks!
Hi, I am applying for CCHS Nursing program for Fall 2015. I have a high school GPA of 3.9 and a college GPA of 3.8. I am currently enrolled in UNCC's pre-nursing program. I have gotten many courses out of the way but I have yet to take A&P 1 and 2 and Micro. My SAT score was only a 1600. What are my chances of getting in? I am also enrolled in CMC's Nurse Aide 1 course for this summer.
Hi! I am currently in 151, didn't do well in 152 last semester. Can you give me any suggestions on how to study for CCHS? I did okay in 101 and did well in 155 but I've been struggling since. I record lectures and always listen to it at least once if not more. I read and underline the topics covered in the lecture. I rewrite lecture notes and book notes combined in a notebook. I don't know why I'm doing so poorly. Can you tell me how you study and also what kinds of questions you ask yourself when looking at the material? We just got tested on Periop and Musculo injuries. I also use the Lewis study guide question book and online quizzes. I got a 70% on the first exam and there are only 3 total plus the final. Please any detailed tips would be greatly appreciated! :)

I have not. The website won't even let me log on to check the application status actually, so I've just been waiting for a letter in the mail. Good luck to you!
