A long-anticipated nurses' poker tournament in Seattle was canceled due to a cardiac arrest in the ED. Sources say that Senator Maureen Walsh was not available for comment as she was at an undisclosed location giving away thousands of decks of cards that flooded her office last week. (Rumor is that Senator Walsh may be seen shadowing a nurse in the near future to see how many nurses even have time to play cards).
Have you had to cancel your card games due to similar circumstances?

Or just let nature take its course. I mean, come on! Nothing's more important than our card games. Just ask the Senator!

What I hate is when you have an iffy hand and you're trying to maintain your poker face despite the annoying call light that won't stop ringing. And just when you get to the final ante, doesn't a family member come trudging up the hall looking for you in person.
Thank goodness I'm getting a paycheque, or I'd be going home a lot poorer some days.
