Nursing Students School Programs

Updated:   Published

Hello everyone...I'm currently enrolled on the lpn bridge program at Capscare Academy. Has anyone else completed the program or close to completion or may be interested in forming a study group? I'm having difficulty navigating the course work. Any help and opinions on this would be greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance!

Has anyone from CT go and completed this program and were able to get licensed in CT?

I would like to enroll in the LVN to RN bridge program if you would send me some information on how to do this with Capscare , Thank You

Good morning,

You can contact the school at 561-547-7371 and talk to the admission department

Congratulation on deciding to advance your career. Just to let you know that it is possible to complete your school with capscare no matter what other people say. I completed my with capscare and I am waiting now to take my NCLEX. The school is self is tedious but not hard because you have all this resources to get your work done. My suggestion for you would be to do your school work but also practice NCLEX style questions. Specially HESI style questions because that's what's going to hold you back. Because everything is online a lot of student in my class had problem passing the HESI. With the school work, the school allows you to work in groups. so go to the school dashboard and find student that is in the same class as you and do the school work together. It's a one-year program it also depends on how fast you get to work done. After you get to med-surg you can do your clinical which is the two week in Florida. I'm not sure what are the changes due to Coronavirus. Anyway I hope that was helpful. Good luck with everything?

No, it is a money grab that will leave you in debt for years! The school is not approved.

Hello,

I have 2 friends and others who I met that never finished Capscare. It is all about money and they are not accredited. It was so bad at one point, they wouldn't release a friend of mine transcript so she can go to another program. Just because its easy to get into, doesn't mean its all good. The money you put down..you will not get back if you don't finish the program. I hope this helps.

Good luck!

Thank you NyCherie! While there are many fine programs in Florida, there are a lot of 'predator' programs that have no interest in educating the student, their only interest is in the $$$.  I just found that someone asked about " Carleen's Home Health School." It is hard to find the passrates on the programs, it seems buried inside a report. Well, 'Carleens' had a total of 31 students take NCLEX, and 4 passed. a 12.9% passrate. And someone from a program similar to these predator schools said - well it is only first time takers in the report. Right, the national average for the national second time test takers is 40%. If these quack Florida programs exactly looked at their second, 3rd, 4th, 5th, test takers, they would be thrilled to post them.

I think the HESI exit is the challenge. I just passed my HESI exit and waiting got the ATT number. They said 30 business days for graduation. I am just now waiting for the number to take the NCLEX. I will keep you updated. My advice don’t listen to anyone negative. Everyone’s situation and experience is different. But the program is very tedious. Lots of papers to write. Good instructor. Edna,

What did you use to study for the HESI?

Thanks

Okay so after you completed the HESI review and UWorld you were ready to sit?
