hi der i would just like to ask if theres anyone whos employed at the said hospital i would just like to ask if how many months do they usually contact you for preliminary interview or examination.i just applied last week tnx hoping for your reply...

is it ok to submit my nbi clearance at capitol which is for travel the color green not the one for local which is color yellow..i got it last jan. my family has a plan to have vacation abroad that's why we chose for travel..it's very hard to get a nbi clearance here almost 4 hours processing..I'm just worried it might affect my application

is it true that they only accept 80+ board rating?i'm planning to pass my application next week after our oath taking:)

I dont know if that is true.... what I know is that they only accept their graduate, so if your not their graduating student you will not be entertained???

it doesnt matter, as long as you dont have criminal records.. i heard also that news that they are only accepting their graduates and most especially if you have a backer. if youre an outsider, it will take time for your applications to be processed or worst it will never be processed.

If you sent in your application this year to Capitol Medical Center, you may get in the scheduled skills training (they just finished one last month though, and they have yet to schedule a next one) but it takes a really long time for you to get called for the interview, then another long wait for the pre-employment physical exam.

They use up all the acceptable applicants per batch before moving to the next, and they've yet to call all the applicants from last year's batch of skills trainees (around November or December, can't really remember). They had another batch early this year, then the March/April one, and each batch had more than 50 participants. Add to that the actual need of the nursing service, plus the time it takes for the papers to signed and approved as 'for employment'...

They don't call everyone though, and there probably is some priority over the graduates of their own college, but it still all depends on the grade.

i have posted a new thread for the set of requirements for Capitol Medical Center. just check it out ...:wink2: i used to work there. I think compared with other hospitals the hiring process is quite faster. (based on my own experience). I and my friend passed our application last week of january '07. we were scheduled for technical and psychological exams the following week. then they posted the results of the exams a week after. afterwards you will be scheduled for 1-month training which costs 1,200(that was last year;the fee will be refunded after a year of your employment). you will be scheduled for an initial(HR department) and final interview (chief nurse) regardless of your performance in the training which may be scheduled during/after your training. Don't worry the chief nurse is very kind during the interview, and is not intimidating at all. you will be hired based on your psychological and clinical exams, your performance during the training, your board rating and lastly from your performance during the interview. what's best about CMC is that their initial contract is 6months and you have a choice to either renew or not and you will be given an employment certificate after completing the 6-month contract. The salary was also good compared with other private hospitals. yeah, so basically that's it for now. Just want to share the experience--goodluck!:wink2:
