i cant enroll at Perpetual because of my tattoo at my ankle, they told me that they will accept me if i will assure them that i will remove it before the end of first semester, but its not that easy. anyone here new student of nursing that is already enrolled? please help me find school that are accepting students even with tattoo. maybe schools that the uniform is pants (not skirt). i only have until wednesday to find one, or else iam late for this semester.
thanks
iam not yet enrolled... , just because of this tattoo. its not that easy to get rid of this, its not that instant, i need time. i think i need to find school which the uniform is pants
. maybe iam not gonna make it, start of classes is on June 13, but i have reservation with AMA, u think its just fine to enroll nursing at AMA and then just shift to other school when this tattoo is already gone..grrr (sigh)
WOW!! Our school just had the rule that any tattoo must be covered. How did they know about the tattoo in the first place?? I'm just wondering if that was a question they ask you or did they see it?? Sorry this happened, hopefully you can find another school or find some way to have it removed. I have heard that the laser removal isn't that great?!?! Don't know if that is true or not.
yes i did found a school, but not my choice...they offer nursing just this year (IT school). while iam searching a solution for this tattoo (hmpt!) i will spend my whole sem with them. i have 6 months to get rid of this, but i dont know what to do...to use a concealer or to have it remove permanently. anyone use "tat b gone?"

well then, good for you but wasn't it enough that you'd make every effort to conceal that bloody tattoo as you go thru removing it (as you mentioned, it would take more than six months to completely remove it)? i'm not into such body embellishments myself but if you've sincerely expressed willingness to conform to whatever standards this school has, you shouldn't have been rejected. to me, it's incredibly inane. you're better off attending a school that cares less about appearances and more about quipping students effectively.

that's good to know. she's been looking for a school that will accept her (with her tatoo). perhaps, you can recommend to her your school as she badly needs to be enrolled very soon. thanks for the info (and i'm really curious on how you found out about that belly button piercing of your classmate
).
