centennial college bridging to rn

Hello,

is anyone taking bridging rn program at the centennial college?? i have some questions about that course.

I'm interested in flex -bridging rn.

1) how many days do i have to go to school?

2) if i take flex bridging, i can only get in to the Ryerson university as a part time rn program, is that true?

I'm at Centennial. I've spoken with the full time RPN program coordinator and he's said that if you're in the flex program, then Ryerson will only allow you to be in their part time program.

If you are taking full time, then you are allowed to switch out to flex whenever you feel like. However, you will not be permitted to switch back to full time.

You can also try reaching out to the facebook group for Centennial bridging program.

Hello. I went to the Centennial Flex Bridging then transitioned to Ryerson as parttime then got delayed due to some failure. But I eventually made it. June 18/19 is the graduation date. I passed NCLEX & now an RN.

Hello. Either you bridge in Centennial for Flex or Hybrid delivery, Ryerson would put you on their parttime BScN under The Chang School of Continuing Education delivery. Therefore, chose wisely... if you wanted fulltime @ Ryerson then bridge at Centennial fulltime. I did not know this when I took the program.

Hi, sorry for interrupting convo between you two, but, just interested to know how the hybrid delivery works? And normally how long it takes for part time at Ryeson?

The hybrid only is offered at Centennial then Parttime at Ryerson.

A hybrid delivery format offered at selected Regional Access Centres (RAC’s) in Ontario which allows Registered Practical Nurses to complete the first part of Centennial College’s RPN to BScN Nursing Bridging Program in six continuous semesters.

Ryerson parttime is up to you but my colleagues finished within 7 semesters. Some people got delayed in Ryerson like me lol. You have the option until 30 months or 7 years.

sorry to hop on, but i was curious if any of you had any Cs in your rpn transcript, or if you'd happen to know the average gpa for the fulltime or part time intake for the program! Or if you'd know what your classmates received from their rpn cumulative gpa.

Hi. Yes, I got C marks for my RPN @ Seneca. My cumulative GPA is 3.5. But Centennial's admission for Bridging is at least a 3.0 GPA for Parttime/Hybrid/Fulltime. Make sure that no repeated course. I guess, the earlier you apply regardless of GPA will give you a spot.

The requirement for full time and part time is minimum 3.0GPA, no failed or repeated courses and no previous BScN studies.

Hi, I was wondering what days the courses are in the hybrid/online/6 semesters bridging program?

I work Mondays and Fridays and I'm wondering if I can avoid having courses those days
